Poor Hans

7th (Friday) - Hans complaint for stomach ache. I didn't take it serious.
8th night (Saturday)- The pain came more frequent and we brought him to the clinic nearby. He vomited for the first time after a small carton of apple juice. Doctor only prescribed electrolyte, he reassured the diarrhea will come after a day or two. At night, he was so painful that he couldn't really bear. He bent down with his hand on the tummy. We sent him to emergency hospital. Waited for around 1 hour. Doctor prescribed anti-vomiting medicine and expected to have diarrhea the next morning.
During the use of the drug, he was not allowed to drink a drop of water so that to let the tummy to rest. Hans couldn't sleep at all for the pain and asking for water throughout the night. I barely sleep as well. Poor poor Hans.
9th morning (Sunday) - Hans still on pain, very painful. No passing stools at all. Everything he took, was vomited out, even a sip of water.
9th night (Sunday) - Thinking of bringing him to the emergency again. Consulted the chinese doctor neighbour. She recommended to dig the stool out from the anus with oil. Nothing work.
With some honey drink he will be passing stool in the morning, she said.
10th morning (Monday) - Nothing happen, more painful. Brought him to the clinic visited first time. She used anti vomiting drug again. I couldn't help myself but to cry like hell. Can't believe this is the only thing they can do to solve the problem. She then recommended us to the hospital.
We went to jikei hospital in kokuryo. Finally the doctor there made a proper diagnosis on Hans. After the x-ray, found that a lump of stool block the colon. Enema was used to force the stools out. Drip was used to prevent further dehydration.
17th (Monday) - Hans was hospitalized for a week. Doctor not recommend to discharge but to stay outside while still need to do his final blood test after 2 days at home.
19th (Wednesday) - Went back for blood checking, everything fine. But Hans got serious 'cold'. Ended up we all got it. Suffering...
I can see Hans is getting better now although he is still coughing. As long as no more pain on him, that's fine. Poor Hans, just like undergone a "contraction" for few days without a baby.. Amitabha!
